Devastating headlines one after another, pouring out at your job and home to the point of burnout, witnessing another fallen church leader, working within systems and around policies that don’t dignify people, needing to take a moment to breathe, and/or struggling to find joy in the midst of a dark and weary world?
Do any of these things sound like what’s been on your heart and mind?
IF SO, SOWERS SELAH 2026 MAY JUST BE AN ANSWERED PRAYER.
the truth is, we actually can live from an empty cup.
we do it all the time, but it doesn’t mean we ought to.
this is why the Sowers Selah exists.
so you can come get refreshed from being weary and replenished from being a helper - not to come serve, give, pour out, get trained, or just get more info but to come to a space that cares about your wholeness and well-being.
to come to a space to get your hope back, heal, and get the help by way of resources and teachings to live a sustainably flourishing life that helps you keep helping and go from weary to hopeful.
If you’re weary with the state of the world or church or both, then this is for you. if you’re a professional helper and are serving from an empty cup this is for you. if global pain and suffering has you growing hopeless this is for you. if injustice has you aching in a way towards apathy or numbness or confusion, then this is for you. if you spend your days pouring out to others, serving others, ministering to others, and feel overworked or burnout, this is for you.
weariness, hopelessness, and burnout don’t have to be our portion or narrative.
Jesus wants you whole and hopeful!
So, look at Sowers Selah as your very own Oasis Day
to get the water you need to be whole and keep sowing.

your host
Hey!
hey friends, I’m so delighted you’ve stumbled upon this event. I believe this is no accident and it’s because God has heard your prayers and wants to give you a space and time to get refreshed and replenished. That’s what Sowers Selah is, or at least I hope it to be - a an answered prayer. Something some of you have been hoping for or looking for or didn’t even know you needed.
I know for me, despair can be so close when my empathetic spirit sees all the suffering in the world globally, locally, and in my own life and I feel like I can barely make an impact. I know for me, the weight that comes with pastoring and leading others and how that sometimes leaves little room for me to make room to be poured into. I know for me, as someone who pursues to live justly - witnessing injustice on a constant basis can be so depleting. I know for me, as a mom struggling to have hope in the future that my son is growing up in. I get it presently but I also spent 12 years working as a teacher and social worker, and I get it from that front too. I’ve spent 10 years in ministry and get it from that front too. All beautiful pathways that sow into others but that can also come at the cost of our own well-being, wholeness, or hope.
We don’t need to run from being empathetic or helpers or just people who care about what’s going on. There’s another way. What is we Selah-ed? Paused and listened to God, ourselves, and others as a tool to help us continue to walk through life with an awareness of the dark but a deep hope in the Light?
This is what we are making space for at Sowers Selah 2026, I hope you’ll come because your soul, mind, heart, and body deserve to go from survival mode to a sowing mode that flourishes.
being tired, weary, exhausted, discouraged, fatigued, burnout, and hopeless doesn’t have to be the narrative you accept for your life. Jesus has more to offer. And as a sower, you get to take moment to selah and be filled.
