this is a sanctuary for the wanderer to wander towards freedom, truth, and the healing hand of Jesus. a space for you to wrestle, doubt, ask questions, grow your hope, unlearn bad theology, and relearn the truth of who Jesus is no matter how long you’ve been a Christian or what you’ve been through or what questions you have.

this cohort is counseling meets seminary meets church.

a 7-month journey of growth, community, and healing.

what do you believe and why do you believe it? what bad theology have you learned that you don’t know exactly how to unlearn? how do you study the Bible in context to actually find the truth of the message and heart of God? what does healing from church wounds look like while still loving the Church and acknowledging our powerful and needed presence within her? how can we move towards a healthy faith that is hope-filled and grounded in the truth?

these are some of the questions we’ll explore in this community as we reflect, reevaluate, renew our minds, and develop rhythms in our life that draw us closer to God and farther from mainstream/unhealthy Christian culture as we intend to walk in collective freedom for the glory of God, our own well being, and bear good fruit towards the world.

Testimonies of Previous Cohort Attendees

“The Wandering Cohort retreat was a reminder of God’s goodness, presence, and the gift of rest. I was encouraged by the vulnerability in everyone’s stories and how openly they shared both joys and trials during this season of wandering. Despite the challenges we were facing, there was a clear shared desire to grow in Christ and a readiness to participate in deep community! The experience left me inspired and grateful for the connections made. Can't wait for Sowers Summit 2026 with all these beautiful sisters”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the Wandering Cohort experience, every month was a chance to dive deeper into my theology journey. Each session was curated with care and when the retreat arrived it felt like a reunion with old friends of the faith, wandering sisters gathered together with purpose, fire, and a love for God. Speaking of fire, the retreat experience was a reprieve and a chance for true selah and hospitality. Pastor Pricelis is not only a gracious teacher, but an incredible cook, and you will be fed both physically and spiritually. Bonus tip: since learning to lean into my identity of a theologian—working to learn more of the heart and nature of God—I was able to offset the cost of this experience using educational assistance for professional development from my workplace.”

— Jaci Sayen

“This retreat was the first time, in a long-time that I experienced a version of my self that I enjoyed. It was a safe place where my mind and body could genuinely relax and be receptive to what the Lord was trying to show me!”

-- KK

“I really appreciated the intentionality that Pricelis put into planning out the content for the cohort. Each month's zoom discussion and homework was a gentle invitation to dig deeper, reflect, and take steps forward in my faith journey. Culminating the year at the in-person retreat was so special - it was such a safe and comfortable space to show up fully as myself. I loved learning from the other women and left feeling hopeful about God's Church and my place in it. “

— Jaclyn E.

“I had an amazing time at the Wandering Cohort this year. I formed amazing friendships and most importantly I discovered some hope…well a lot of hope in my journey towards Christ. Pricelis did a wonderful job of creating a safe environment for all of us to share and the resources provided were invaluable. 10/10 recommend!”
